It is more than twice the height of the next tallest building, the Shanghai Tower. The Burj Khalifa has 163 floors. Location: The Burj Khalifa is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dubai is a city that is constantly evolving and growing. It is home to some of the most impressive architecture in the world, and the Burj Khalifa is a perfect example of this. Design: The Burj Khalifa was designed by Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The building's design is inspired by the desert flower, which is native to the UAE.
